Our Story
In the fall of 2012, Katherine and her friend Natasha decided to celebrate a big squash win by grabbing a beer at a nearby pub. Natasha spotted her friend Michael and they joined him at his table, where the couple-to-be hit it off right away.
They dated while Katherine was commuting from Vancouver to Calgary every week for work, until late 2013 when she packed her bags and moved to Calgary for her career and her Cape Bretoner.
Not typically the romantic type, Michael managed to pull off a surprise proposal while the two were vacationing in Iceland last summer.
